About Timoskopio
We compare prices across Cyprus e-shops and keep their history, so you know whether a price is really good before you buy.
What we do
Every night we read the prices of the shops we follow, join the same product across shops and record every price change. On every product you see which shop is cheapest today, how the price moved and the lowest we have seen.
How we judge sales
A sale is only as good as the price it is compared with. So we don’t trust the shop’s crossed-out “was” price: we compare it with the prices we saw ourselves. We say a price fell only when it is below every earlier price at the same shop, and that a “was” price never appeared only when we never saw it. When we don’t have enough data, we say nothing.
The EU rule (Directive 2019/2161) says a sale’s “was” price must be the lowest of the previous 30 days. Once our history covers 30 days, we check that too.
Independent and free
Timoskopio is free for everyone. No shop pays to appear, for its position or for what we say about its prices. We have no ads and no tracking cookies.

We are building a phone app: search, compare and price alerts on your phone, wherever you are. Until then, save products here: they will be waiting for you in the app.

Disclaimer
Prices, availability and offers are what each shop showed the last time we checked, and may have changed since. The data comes from the shops themselves; we do our best to get it right and to join only the same product, but we cannot guarantee there are no mistakes. The price that counts is always the one at the shop’s checkout, with delivery.
The price history and the findings about sales are information to help you decide, not a legal judgement about any shop. We sell nothing and are not part of your purchase: you buy directly from the shop, on its terms.
